We do have a few guidelines for our Vendors. These guidelines guarantee our shoppers a delightful shopping experience that they will want to share with others. This will bring more traffic into your Booth!
Booths that are available for rent are posted with the dimensions square footage, and the booth rental fee. All booths without this sign are unavailable. Booth rents are non-refundable. RWM must have a list of all items/type of items that will be in booth and reserve the right to disapprove any item.
As a vendor at RWM will you responsible for the following:
1. Keeping booth clean, swept and up to date with new, gently used, or antique merchandise.
2. NO JUNK!!! High end items ONLY. (Your booth should NEVER look like a yard sale.)
3. Minimal space for clothes sales. Top of line clothing ONLY no everyday clothes. Must be on hangers, not folded on tables or shelves. Rules for New clothing lines differ from used. (Consult with Telena before bringing in any clothes.)
4. First month's rent will be due when you reserve your Booth and sign your contract. After that, rent plus 11% of your sales will be collected out of your sales check on the last day of each month. If your sales do not cover your rent for the month, you have two weeks to pay the remaining amount. If you fail to do so, your booth will be closed until rent is paid. If one month lapses without receiving rent, your merchandise will become property of Red Wagon Market for compensation of past due rent. Vendors must give us a 2 week notice before moving out/giving up their booth.
CHECKS WILL BE READY THE 5TH OF EACH MONTH. No checks will be issued before the 5th of each month. If the 5th falls on a Sunday, checks will be issued on the next business day. Rent, Advertising, and any other layaway or monies owed to RW are deducted from balance.
5. Each booth must maintain $200 in sales each month. IF you go two consecutive months under the $200 sales mark, you may be asked to let your booth go to someone else. (If you keep your booth with new items weekly, displayed well and clean, you will have no problem reaching the $200 sales mark.
6. There will be a $10 a month fee from each vendor for advertising. This will be in addition to rent and is deducted from your Settlement (Check Payout).
7. Average booths are allowed two lamps per booth and larger ones are allowed four lamps. (Energy efficient bulbs ONLY)
8. Booths must be swept and clean at least once a week.
9. Keep your booth(s) as full as possible. The fuller it looks, the better you will sell and we want you to sell. IF YOU ARE NOT KEEPING YOUR BOOTH WELL STOCKED, THEN I AS OWNER, HAVE THE RIGHT TO ADD ITEMS AS I SEE FIT TO KEEP THE APPEARANCE OF FULLNESS. RWM Owners reserve the right to approve or disapprove all items in booth.
10. If you do not work a day job, please come during our working hours to work in your booth. We are open for Vendors daily till 7pm
11. Where to buy: auctions - yard sales -flea market - online yard sales - Shopper's guide - estate sales - thrift stores.
12. VERY IMPORTANT - Make sure your items are tagged and priced BEFORE placing in booth, your Vendor # must be on the tag. Customers will pick up and move items to other booths, then we do not know who the item belongs to and you will NOT get credit for any item sold without your Vendor Account #.
13. RWM will not be responsible for insurance on your booth merchandise. That will be your responsibility if you want it.
14. RWM will always have the right to ask you to meet certain expectations. If you are unable to meet them, you may be asked to close your booth, with no refund on Rent/Advertising for that month. This is a business and it must be ran as such.
15. You may call or come by to receive your balance at any time, but please be courteous to our cashiers and ask if they are free to look this up.
We look forward to helping you become a Vendor at Red Wagon Market
